I believe graphic design, in every aspect, is about the clarity and understanding of information. So I believe that form follows function. Design is dictated by the target audience, only until you understand your audience can you tailor a successful experience. Along with understanding your audience, a successful experience involves understanding and wireframing the information, structuring the flow of the user’s experience, and designing an engaging, therefore memorable, experience.
